The Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (District)
will hold a Board Hearing at the time and location listed above to
accept comments and consider adoption of proposed amended Regulation XI,
Public Notification – Rules 1101-1105.
Sources Potentially Affected
This rule applies to all air pollution control sources in Santa
Barbara County.
About the Proposed Amended Rule
This Public Notification Regulation XI (Rules 1101-1105) was created
and adopted in 1980. The advent of electronic media, and changes in Air
Quality Standards since 1980 have made it necessary to update this
regulation to reflect current practices and standards.
This rulemaking project for proposed amended Regulation XI consists
of revisions to District staff administrative public notification
procedures. The District found that the potential environmental impacts
of the revisions made to Regulation XI are insignificant. You are
invited to review the rule and provide comments to the District.
