Santa Barbara County Daily AQI Summary
What you need to know about AQI

The Index below refers to ozone levels only. Real-time readings of particulates, available at the Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Lompoc H Street stations may be elevated due to smoke, ash and dust. To view those levels, updated hourly, see the  Station Data  page, select those stations, and view PM2.5 and PM10 levels. Levels of PM10 averaging higher than 150, or levels of PM2.5 averaging higher than 40 are considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.

See links to air quality advisories and updates here.
