Community Advisory Council (CAC)The Air Pollution Control District Community Advisory Council is a volunteer advisory body of Board appointed members with diverse expertise and representing a variety of community interests. The Council was formed to encourage greater public participation in the APCD's rulemaking and planning processes. The role of the Council is to review rules and clean air plans, and make recommendations to the APCD Board. For background information on the Community Advisory Council, see the CAC By-Laws. The APCD Community Advisory Council meets the second Wednesday of most months at the Days Inn (formerly Windmill Motor Inn) in Buellton. See next meeting for agenda, if available.
