Community Advisory Council (CAC)The Air Pollution Control District Community Advisory Council is a volunteer advisory body of Board appointed members with diverse expertise and representing a variety of community interests. The Council was formed to encourage greater public participation in the APCD's rulemaking and planning processes. The role of the Council is to review rules and clean air plans, and make recommendations to the APCD Board. The APCD Community Advisory Council meets the fourth Wednesday of most months at the Days Inn (formerly Windmill Motor Inn) in Buellton.
